The exact status of Sony’s The Last Guardian remains a mystery, but the game’s original creator Fumito Ueda has suggested the title may have transitioned from PS3 to PS4.

Ueda told Dengeki PlayStation that his most memorable PlayStation title was The Last Guardian.

“By which I mean all the hardships and the unforeseen amount of time required than what was originally thought,” he explained.

Asked to share his memories on a game he has worked on this year Ueda said: “Talks with Sony Computer Entertainment on The Last Guardian have been ironed out, and we’re making progress under completely new conditions. I’m also working on some other things that I’ll hopefully be able to show in time if progress is smooth.”

Ueda doesn’t mention platforms, but is this new “condition” the change of development from PS3 to PS4? Let’s hope so.
