Verski has staple-gunned a January 22 release date to its upcoming PlayStation 4 and PC shooter, The Hong Kong Massacre.
The actioner has been keeping a low profile as of late, and we haven't really heard that much about it since its initial reveal back in 2017. Still, if you haven't been keeping up, just think Hotline Miami, and you'll be on the right track.
The Hong Kong Massacre takes place from a top-down perspective, where you hop into the shoes of an ex-copper on a mission to avenge the death of his partner. It's classic 80s movie madness, and I love it already. The game mixes adrenaline-pumping shooting with slow-mo and dodge mechanics, which you'll have to use tactically to stay alive as you mow down hordes of goons across a crime-riddled city.
Players can also hoover up challenges to unlock additional weapons and other content, so there's plenty to keep you on your toes.
