Paper craft-flavoured mystery title The Good Life is having a second stab at crowdfunding to get off the ground, creators Hidetaka Suehiro and Yukio Futatsugi  have announced.

The open-world title has seen some tweaks since its first attempt on Fig, chiefly a reduced funding goal, revamped art style, and improved design proposal. While the original campaign looked to secure $1.5 million, Swery and his chum are now looking to raise $650,000 (£452,234) for the project on Kickstarter.

Fortunately, Swery says that the scope of The Good Life, which sees your character and others turn into a cat at night, has not changed despite the reduced funding goal. As mentioned, the visuals have seen an upgrade, although they still retain the paper craft look seen in the original Fig pitch.

Taking photos remains in tact, only this time you can get snap-happy with just about anything you deem interesting outside of the core murder storyline. Players can also rake in extra cash by taking pictures of trending objects and animals, allowing you to then spend the money on better equipment.

The Good Life has raised just over £86,000 at the time of writing with 38 days to spare.Â
