Nexon has confirmed the release date and time for when the Bayonetta crossover will come out for The First Descendant, and it coincides with the release of Season 3 Episode 2. Aside from the crossover with one of the most iconic and beloved video game heroines, the update will also introduce a new TFD character called Harris plus plenty more.

The First Descendant Bayonetta Release Time – When Does Season 3 Episode 2 Come Out?

The release date and time for when The First Descendant Season 3 Episode 2 and the Bayonetta crossover will come out is 7AM PT/10AM ET/3PM GMT on November 6th. This is confirmed by Nexon in their maintenance overview.

Maintenance for the Season 3 Episode 2 update will start at 9PM PT on November 5th, as well as 12AM ET/5AM GMT on November 6th. Until the release time passes, you will not be able to log into and play TFD. There is the possibility last-minute delays can occur, so make sure to follow the game’s official X account.

What’s Included in The First Descendant Bayonetta Crossover

Arguably the most exciting component of Season 3 Episode 2 is the crossover with Bayonetta. This is Nexon’s biggest collaboration following on from partnering with Nier Automata at the beginning of Season 3.

As for what’s included in the partnership with SEGA, players will be able to get the iconic skintight black leather Bayonetta outfit along with her Rapunzel-esque long black hair and iconic glasses. Basically, you will be able to play a one-to-one likeness of the flirtatious heroine. There will also be The Last Dagger weapon skin, emotes, and more.

The collaborations for TFD have been excellent so far. Before they started happening, Nexon promised fans they were taking collaboration requests “under review,” before teasing their first collaboration for Season 3. Nier and Bayonetta were two of the most popular requests, and arguably the third is Eve from Stellar Blade.

Unfortunately, there’s nothing official concerning Eve coming to TFD, but fans on PC can at least dress up as Eve through a Stellar Blade outfit mod for Bunny.

New Season 3 Episode 2 TFD Character Harris

As with every Season and Episode, Nexon is introducing another new playable character to add to the game’s amazing roster. Season 2 added Keelen, Ines Raya, and Serena, meanwhile, Season 3 added Nell. Now players are about to get Harris.

Harris is described as a “Toxic, Tech and Fusion type skill DPS Descendant who does not use MP”. Below are her skills courtesy of Nexon’s Season 3 Episode 2 overview:

  • Internal Toxin Control (Passive Skill):
    • Depending on the stage of Toxin accumulation, reduces cooldown, increases DEF, and increases Melee Weapon and Skill Power.
  • Crushing Charge:
    • Attacks enemies using Exo-Arms, the second strike deals increased damage.
  • Site Intrusion:
    • Jumps and strikes enemies, granting a Protective Barrier proportional to the number of enemies hit.
  • Designate Danger Zone:
    • Consumes Toxin to deal damage to nearby enemies and gains a Movement Speed Buff.
  • Waste Disposal:
    • Fires lasers from the Exo-Arms to deal damage to enemies and gain a DEF increase buff.

New TFD Skins and November Events

Lastly, besides the Bayonetta outfit, Season 3 Episode 2 will launch with new skins Valby’s ‘Deep-sea Exploration Gear’ and Nell’s ‘Breach Exploration Suit’. More skins will release on November 20th with universal male and female ‘Night Rider’ outfits.

There are also the following events taking place during November:

Assemble: Supermassive Receptor (November 6th – December 4th):

  • Participate in the new content for Season 3 Episode 2 to obtain Ecive, Chest Attachments, Ancestors Module Readjustment Materials, and more.

Bayonetta Celebration Event (November 6th – December 4th):

  • Complete different missions to obtain an Ultimate Lepic/Ajax/Viessa Selection Box, Bayonetta “C’mon!” Emote, and other rewards.

Feast of Abundance (Attendance) (November 6th – December 18th):

  • Log in for a total of 28 days to obtain Serena’s “Cleaning Service.”

If you are coming back to The First Descendant after a long hiatus just for the Bayonetta crossover, remember that TFD is no longer playable on either PS4 or Xbox One.
