Fallout 76's upcoming beta test will kick off in October, developer Bethesda has announced.

Nothing seems to have changed in regards to how the beta will be rolled out, with Xbox One gamers first in line followed by PC and PlayStation 4 at a later date.

Bethesda will be plucking gamers to take part in the beta from a small pool at first, though it'll gradually expand over time. To qualify, you need to pre-order Fallout 76 and redeem the code you'll receive on Bethesda's official website.

However, it's worth noting that if you pre-order from a 'participating retailer' you will automatically be enrolled in the teaser, as will anyone who pre-orders from the PlayStation Store, Xbox One, or Bethesda.net.

Fallout 76 is due out on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on November 14.
