Team 17 has announced that the sequel to the popular sandbox prison-escape game The Escapists will be launching on Steam 17 hours earlier than originally planned. You could call this a breakout of sorts.
As a result the new Steam release schedule will be midnight in the UK and 1am in Europe. To celebrate the earlier breakout, Team 17 will be livestreaming new prisons on its Facebook page as soon as the game is released. This announcement follows the unveiling that vehicular prison transports will be coming to the game.

The Escapists 2 will release on other digital console storefronts as previously planned and will be available at retail for the PS4 and Xbox One on August 22.
