Bethesda has announced that The Elder Scrolls: Blades has been pushed into early 2019.

Announced during the company's E3 press event, The Elder Scrolls: Blades is a mobile title for Android and iOS, and was originally pencilled in for release this year. No reason for the delay was given, but that probably doesn't matter at this point – you won't be playing it until next year now.

Still, it's worth noting that you can sign up for Early Access if you fancy it, which can be done here.

Bethesda is also working on The Elder Scrolls VI, although that is obviously a very long way off at this point. Still, sneaky Todd Howard knows when the game is coming out, but he's not about to let that slip.

So, why announce it so early? To let punters know what they're doing, innit.
