Tom Clancy's The Division will be available to play free throughout the month of September, thanks to a slew of trial weekends for the PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One action-RPG-shooter hybrid.

The first round of free play will begin on September 6 for PC owners of The Division on Uplay, and will wrap up on September 9. Next up is the PS4 and Xbox One free trial for PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold users, respectively, which runs September 13-16.

That's not all though. During the period September 6-10, players can snap up the PC version of the post-pandemic shooter at 70% off, while Xbox One and PS4 owners can take advantage of a similar discount from September 11-20 and September 13-25, respectively.

In addition, various cosmetic items are also going cheap at 50% off the usual asking price on all formats from September 6-19.

The Division launched on PS4, PC, and Xbox One back in March 2016, and amassed more than 20 million players worldwide some two years later. Ubisoft is currently working on a direct sequel, which is currently pencilled in for release on March 15, 2019.
