The Division 2 tops the UK charts, but launch sales can’t beat the first game

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 has bumped Devil May Cry 5 off the summit of the UK all format chart, but launch sales for the action-RPG are down significantly in comparison to its predecessor.

According to Chart-Track data (via GI.biz), The Division 2 could only drum up 20 percent of what the original game achieved three years ago, although that's physical sales only. As always, digital copies are not tracked, so it's likely that The Division 2 performed well in this respect.

The Division 2 moved 60% of all copies on PlayStation 4, with Xbox One eating up the rest. The game's success also means that Devil May Cry 5 has been booted down to sixth place, with sales falling 76% week-on-week. Ouch.

In terms of new releases, One Piece World Seeker managed to bruise the charts at number 28. Check out the full top 10 below.
