The Death Stranding Limited Edition PS4 Pro was announced during Sony’s State of Play showcase, and is a bundle of joy that matches with the game’s eerie golden baby pods.
Accompanied by a physical Blu-ray copy of Death Stranding, the 1TB PS4 Pro is matte white with black stained handprints stamped on it, and comes with a translucent yellow controller. The Death Stranding controller will use the gyroscope in the hardware to let the player ‘emulate holding the BB pod in your own hands’, and rock the baby to sleep.
The Death Stranding Limited Edition PS4 Pro bundle will launch on the game’s release date, and hit select retailers in North America and Europe, priced at $399.99. I think the monochromatic console is quite cool, but I really wish the golden controller didn’t remind me of a specific wacky feature in Death Stranding.
