Xbox One's backwards compatibility lineup has gained an additional three titles today, wiht Major Nelson confirming Duke Nukem Forever, The Darkness, and The Bureau: XCOM Declassified are now playable on Microsoft's telly box.

Everyone probably knows about Duke Nukem Forever. It's notorious for being in development hell for over a decade, and when it finally did come out, it was, well, more than a bit crap. If you really want to play it again on Xbox One, then you can.

More interesting is The Darkness, a brilliant actioner developed by Starbreeze Studios released back in 2007 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It also got a sequel in 2012, but sadly, the IP has been on hiatus ever since.

Bringing up the rear is The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. Developed by numerous 2K studios, the game was originally conceived as a first-person shooter before being revamped into a strategy-flavoured tactical third-person romp in 2013. It was actually pretty decent, too.

If you have the physical or digital copies of any of the above games, you can start playing them on your Xbox One now in the usual manner.
