Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for upcoming horror title The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes.

As a quick refresher, this latest instalment takes place in the Zargos mountains as a US military unit comes under fire from Iraqi forces. Both parties soon find themselves trapped underground, and quickly find out an even deadlier threat may be trapped with them.

The latest trailer plays off this conflict, and as always you’ll have to make some tough decisions to survive. Most notably, however, the trailer also hides a url on a gift tag (thanks, Xbox Achievements) taking you to an in-universe website. This mock government website appears to be a mini-ARG of sorts, offering up extra lore on the game’s story. You’ll have to click through if you want to discover everything for yourself.

In the meantime, you can check out the new The Dark Pictures: House of Ashes trailer for yourself down below. The game will also be available in a The Dark Pictures Anthology Triple Pack with all three games in the series so far. That includes the new game, Man of Medan and last year’s Little Hope.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes drops on October 22, 2021 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
