Fortnite. It's a video game by Epic, and either you love it, or your friends do; that's how the world works now. Earlier this week, a new creative mode was announced that allows players to 'Design games, race around the island, battle your friends in new ways and build your dream Fortnite. It’s all happening on your own private island where everything you make is saved.'

Those with a Battle Pass can fiddle around in there at the minute, whilst everyone else must wait until December 13 to have a look at what they can make. The best creations, as announced by creative director Donald Mustard at The Game Awards, will be highlighted in a new area called The Block. Which sort of sounds like a legally distinct Channel 5 version of Schofield's The Cube in many ways.

If you boot up the battle royale behemoth right now, you can head towards The Block and have a look at what players have been up to. To submit something yourself, just share it on your Bebos and that using the hashtag #FortniteBlockParty.

Here's the best way to get featured in The Block, according to the Fortnite overlords:

'25×25 tile area on a flat section of your island. It’s very important that your creations can fit nicely on The Block. Try to keep your ‘Memory Used’ less than 50,000. Efficiency is just as important as creativity! Chests, floor loot and vehicle spawns will be determined by Epic. No need to include these.'

Season 7 began recently and is all about the holiday season, so things like snowmen and a tribal tattooed Santa are present, obviously.

Fortnite is available to play now on everything, all the time, until the end of time. Enjoy.
