Epic Games has released Fortnite update 7.00, bringing with it a brand new season of content for the massively popular battle royale title.
Season 7 is all about getting in the Christmas mood, so naturally, that means the arrival of a strangely hench Santa-looking chap and his army of snowmen, complete with an armed bi-plane. Fortnite's map has also received a winter makeover, complete with snow, ziplines, and new areas and secrets to uncover.
There's a new Battle Pass up for grabs too, featuring over 100 new cosmetic items and early access to the freshly-introduced Creative Mode. It also includes Wraps, which are earned by levelling up the pass and allow players to customise weapons and vehicles in-game.
Fortnite players will be able to pilot the new X-4 Stormwing Plane in Battle Royale, which comes armed with a meaty machine gun.
Finally, Save the World owners will receive Act 3 of Canny Valley, offering new quests, areas, and a new Mythic reward. Read the full list of patch notes here.
