The Banner Saga 2, a follow-up to the hit 2D animated indie RPG, will launch on PC, PS4 and Xbox One in 2015, Stoic and Versus Evil have announced.
In the sequel, Stoic will continue the legacy and story of The Banner Saga, building on the 2D animation and art, tactical combat system and a cast of unique characters, which earned the game a number of awards.
“The critical reception and widespread fan appreciation for The Banner Saga is overwhelming and humbling, and has the team at Stoic dedicated to delivering a fantastic sequel with The Banner Saga 2,” said Arnie Jorgensen, co-owner and art director, Stoic.
