Journey, the long-awaited next project from Flower developer gamecompany, is reported to be due for release next month.

According to The Indie Game Mag, a March release is confirmed in the latest issue of Game Informer.

The Indie Game Mag has also gathered a selection of informative titbits from thatgamecompany’s Twitter feed, including the fact that Journey won’t have any DLC, and that the game will limit saves to one file per account on any given PS3.

There’s bad news for anyone hoping for a Vita version too:

“Unless Sony makes a #Vita port, #JourneyPS3 won’t be on the Vita,” the developer Tweeted.

Naturally that doesn’t completely rule out the possibility of a third-party port. And it’s interesting that the message says that “JourneyPS3” won’t be on the Vita, rather than “Journey” as a whole.

Still, I wouldn’t get your hopes up for the time being.
