Remember a few weeks ago when we all found out that a game where you date cats was imminently going to exist? Well now that game, Purrfect Date, has an actual release date for December 13.Â
In Purrfect Date, ‘the player adopts the role of several freshly employed research assistants on an island almost entirely populated by cats, on a mission to uncover the location’s shady history.’ Presumably these research assistants are also looking for love, or at least someone to gradually take up more and more of the sofa every time you accidentally move a fraction of an inch over.
Described as ‘a cross between a visual novel, dating sim, and dark British comedy’ and inspired by the likes of Dream Daddy, Undertale and Hatoful Boyfriend, Purrfect date is being developed by Bae Team and published by Bossa Studios (the ones that did I Am Bread and Surgeon Simulator). And it’ll be out on PC in time for Christmas.
