Terraria will launch on PS4 next Wednesday, November 12, 505 Games has announced.

The PS4 version is billed as the “ultimate console” version, boasting a world triple the size of the PS3 game and over 1,000 new items, including 10 new ores, four new wood types, 31 new brick types, 12 new wing types, 29 new tinker combinations, 50 new paintings, eight new friendly NPCs, 15 new pets, over 100 new enemies, four new bosses and more.

Using feedback from players of the PS3 version a number of other changes have been made, including the ability to pinch to zoom in and out on DualShock 4’s touch pad.

A free World Map companion app for mobile and tablet devices will also be available from which players can access the PS4 game in real time.

Cross-Play is also confirmed between the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita versions, meaning saves can move between platforms and multiplayer can take place against any player on any PlayStation platform.

Furthermore, for a limited time you’ll get a copy of the PS Vita version free with the PS4 game.
