Terminator star Linda Hamilton will join the season two cast of Syfy’s cross-media series Defiance, reports Variety.
Hamilton, who remains best known for her role as Sarah Conner in the Terminator franchise, will play Pilar McCawley, the wife of Rafe McCawley (Graham Greene) and mother to their three children.
The series returns to US television on June 19 and will presumably hit UK screens shortly after. Meanwhile Trion says there’s lots planned for the game during the show’s second season.
“We’ve got a whole slew of updates coming out before and during the second season,” explained Trick Dempsey, creative lead on Defiance. “We’re getting new enemies, new perks, new features, and the inevitable land expansion. The location has already been telegraphed to those who have been paying careful attention, but I won’t spoil that for you here.”
