Speaking to uk.playstation.com, Katsuhiro Harada, the director of the Tekken team, has revealed Tekken 6 DLC is likely and if it comes it will be free.
“There is a strong possibility we will [release DLC]. However, even if we were to do so, it would be free to the end user,” said Harada.
Namco Bandai is currently working on two separate updates for Tekken 6, one to fix online gameplay issues and the other to add online co-op to the scenario mode. Given that these updates are confirmed, Harada must be referring to something new.
Tekken 6 is out now for PS3 and Xbox 360. A PSP version is scheduled for release on December 11.
