The delayed released of many of Take-Two’s big releases – BioShock 2, Mafia 2, Max Payne 3 and Red Dead Redemption – was announced earlier this year, but last night the publisher was able to offer a slightly more targeted release window for the titles.
“Looking ahead to next year, we have a strong line-up that includes sequels to some of our most successful franchises, including Bioshock 2, Mafia 2, Max Payne 3, and Red Dead Redemption,” said Take-Two CEO Bed Feder during last night’s Q3 earnings call. “We are continuing to evaluate the optimal release window for these titles and still plan to release all four titles in the first half of calendar 2010. At this point, we don’t expect any of these titles to launch within our first fiscal quarter ending January 31, 2010.”
That’s not all Take-Two has planned for 2010. Feder added: “We also have other new titles planned for the remainder of 2010 that will be announced in the coming months.”
