Fullbright has celebrated the release of Tacoma with a short new launch trailer. Coming in at just under 40 seconds, the trailer gives us a quick run through of the space station, Tacoma, where the entirety of the game takes place. As Amy, players have been sent out on a mission to retrieve the AI from the abandoned Tacoma. This isn’t going to end well, is it?

Tacoma is Fullbright’s second game, after the well received Gone Home which came out in 2013. After a series of delays Tacoma is out and our very own Alice Bell reviewed it, saying that, ‘Tacoma is a quiet, lovely, yet slightly melancholy exploration of humanity struggling in a corporate vacuum’.

Tacoma is a narrative adventure which takes place aboard a seemingly empty high-tech space station in 2088. The Venturis Corporation want their AI back, and this is where the player comes in. As the mission proceeds, the player will explore details of how the crew lived and worked, while piecing together clues to find out how the crew coped in the face of an unsurvivable disaster.

Tacoma is out now on Xbox One and PC.
