That cool swipe-to-make-kingdom-altering-decisions game Reigns, developed by Nerial and published last year by Devolver, is getting a sequel. And this time you rule over a Queendom.

In Reigns: Her Majesty, ‘a cultural renaissance has bestowed the world with a new era or knowledge and enlightenment but greed and jealous still conspire against the benevolent queen.’ Her Majesty will feature new characters and requests from subjects, new Royal Challenges, and an inventory system.

In Reigns you must balance the influence of four different powers in your kingdom to lead the country to success. Too much or too little of any of them will lead to ruin and, often, your death. Courtiers and subjects will come to you with requests that alter the balance of power, depending on which way you choose to swipe. It’s really rather good, so we’re looking forwards to more.

Reigns: Her Majesty will be out some time this year.
