505 Games has announced that Supremacy MMA is coming to the PlayStation Vita this autumn. The game, in development at Kung Fu Factory, will come complete with exclusive fighters, venues and features only found in the PS Vita version.

“Supremacy MMA takes MMA where it’s never gone before, with unprecedented brutality and arcade speed, and now it’s headed for another new frontier as the sole MMA game to go to handheld in 2011,” said Ian Howe, President, 505 Games, North America. “The arcade-styled gameplay is perfectly suited for quick handheld sessions, and the game looks amazing on Sony’s hot new tech.”

Supremacy MMA features former UFC champ Jens Pulver, and real female fighters Felice Herrig and Michele Gutierrez. The game is also due for release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 20, with the Vita version to follow in time for holiday 2011.

A 505 Games spokesperson has confirmed to VideoGamer.com that while the aim is to release the game in time for Holiday 2011, it will obviously depend on when Vita hits stores in the UK – which is down to Sony.
