Nintendo has revealed that the North American release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Wii will now be on March 9, a month later than the previously confirmed February 10 date.
A post on the game’s official website states: “Due to delays in the completion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, we’ve had to change the release date of the game to Sunday, March 9th.
“I deeply apologize to the people who have looked forward to playing the game for so long and ask that you hold on just a little longer. Thank you for your patience.”
In Japan the game will now arrive one week later than previously announced, making it to retail on January 31.
The game is still without a European release date and was missing from Nintendo Europe’s most recent release schedule.
