SNES classic Super Metroid is the latest Wii U Virtual Console bargain priced at only 30p, Nintendo has announced.
The game is the latest release in the Family Computer 30th Anniversary promotion and will hit the Virtual Console on May 16. The price will rise to £5.49 on June 14.
Nintendo says this is the European version of the game, which was optimised originally by the developer to offer gameplay and music speed similar to the US version. The aspect ratio has been corrected for this release.
Wii U gamers can also look out for the Resident Evil Revelations demo on the eShop from tomorrow, whilst Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Ghouls’n Ghosts will hit the Wii U Virtual Console on May 16 priced £3.49 and £5.49 respectively.
