Super Meat Boy started life as a Flash game simply titled Meat Boy. When it arrived on XBLA back in October last year, it made the transition to Super Meat Boy. The game has also appeared digitally for PC, but this will be the first time fans can own a physical version of the game.

“Super Meat Boy taps into the exact kind of things I want from a video game – it’s bold, challenging and, above all, rewarding.” said Martin in his Super Meat Boy review.

Fans of the little meaty chap might want to keep an eye on the new game from Ed McMillen, who is one half of Team Meat. The upcoming Steam game, The Binding of Issac is also due for release in August.
