Insanely difficult, but oh so rewarding downloadable platformer Super Meat Boy has sold over one million copies, developer Team Meat has announced.
Taking to Twitter to share the news, Team Meat wrote: “Fun Fact: Super Meat Boy past [sic] the million sales mark last month! PLATINUM BABY.”
Super Meat Boy launched for Xbox LIVE Arcade in October 2010 and for PC via Steam a month later in November 2010. A year later the game was made available for Mac.
Team Meat is now working on an “experimental” new project.
