Update: Super Mario Run is now available to download for Android devices via the Google Play Store. The trial is free, but you’ll need to pay £9.99 to unlock the full game.
Original report: Nintendo’s well received Mario platforming debut on iOS, Super Mario Run, will finally launch for Android devices via Google Play on March 23, Nintendo has announced.
The Android edition will be the 2.0 version, offering new characters and the ability to unlock stage 1-4 in the free demo edition.
As with the iOS edition, it will cost £9.99 to unlock all the game’s stages.
