Nintendo sure was pumping them out a fair lick during its Nintendo E3 Spotlight this evening. Super Mario Odyssey saw some new gameplay footage, along with a confirmed worldwide release date of October 27, 2017.
In the trailer we see Mario traversing a variety of terrains and different level types, including another look at New Donk City. In this globe-trotting adventure we’ll see Mario in a variety of locales as he collects Moons to power his airship, The Odyssey. It’s down to you to utilise his wide range of abilities, and that magical hat, to bring peace to the world once more.
This time around, Mario is tasked with rescuing Princess Peach from Bowsers wedding plans. New times, new stories and all that. Regardless of the slight sarcastic tone there, it genuinely looks pretty good. Roll on October.
