Nintendo has announced that vegetable-chucking platformer Super Mario Bros. 2 is joining Switch Online on February 13.

Most people know the story behind Mario Bros. 2 by now, but for the record, it's not the Japanese version of the game you'll be playing. It's the US and European version, based on Doki Doki Panic. The one released in Japan is what we know over here as Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels, and it's tough as nails.

Mazza will be joined by Kirby's Adventure, which is notable as the first game the round fella used his copy ability. If you've played a Super Smash Bros. game, then you've almost certainly fallen victim to this attack.

Nintendo Switch Online has amassed a pretty decent lineup of games since rolling out last autumn, so let's hope it continues.
