EA has announced Shadows of the Dammed, the new title from Grasshopper Manufacture’s Suda 51 (No More Heroes, Killer 7) and Shinji Mikami (Vanquish, Resident Evil 4).
The game is described as a psychological action thriller in which Garcia Larkspur goes on a trip to hell to save his true love, Paula. The action looks suitably wacky – a Suda 51 trademark – and has a punk rock edge to it.
Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka has also been confirmed to be involved.
The game’s set for release in 2011 for PS3 and Xbox 360.
