The most impressive element of the PlayStation 4 is its processing power, Grasshopper Manufacture CEO Goichi Suda (aka Suda 51) has told Famitsu.
Asked by the Japanese video games magazine if it is the “speed,” “social” or “service” elements of the PS4 which he was most impressed by, Suda 51 said it was the speed.
“The most impressive one to me so far has got to be ‘speed’,” said Suda 51. “As a video game console, that’s the part the stood out to me the most for the PlayStation 4. We make games, so we want to make them fun, and we also put a lot of effort into making them as appealing as possible. In order to do that, we need hardware that can show ‘speed’.”
He added: “When it comes to making games, having this ‘speed’ available as an ingredient really puts us at ease. Even as we currently develop, we can really feel the response of having it available.”
Suda 51 is currently working on PS4 game Lily Bergamo, which he describes as a “super action game”.
