Fans eagerly awaiting the upcoming DLC for classically-styled platformer Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course may have to wait a little longer, as developer Studio MHDR has announced a small delay.

The DLC, which is set to feature new character Ms. Chalice, was originally scheduled for a 2019 release, but Studio MHDR has put out a statement announcing that to ensure the package 'meets the meticulous level of care and quality we always strive for' and, perhaps more importantly, to ensure that the studio makes things 'in a way that's healthy and sustainable for our team' the content has been pushed into 2020.

Once released, the Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course DLC is set to appear on all platforms the game is currently available for, so that's Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
