Cuphead, the superb retro shooter from developer Studio MDHR, is coming to Nintendo Switch on April 18, the Big N announced during its Nindies showcase this afternoon.

Ninty gave special mention to its 'friends at Microsoft' during the announcement, so it's obvious the two companies are getting pretty chummy as of late.

Cuphead was originally released on the Xbox One and PC back in September 2017, and made a name for itself thanks to its challenging difficulty and gorgeous art style, which plucks inspiration from classic 1930s cartoons produced by Walt Disney animation studios.

The game eventually sold over three million copies as of summer 2018, and Colm really rated it in his review. If you haven't played it yet, then it's probably a good idea to check it out when it arrives on Switch next month.
