The game series based on Strong Bad, the self-proclaimed coolest person ever, will be released for PS3 via PSN later this month, digital publisher Telltale Games has announced.

Created in partnership with HomeStarRunner.com creators Mike and Matt Chapman, Telltale’s Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People (SBCG4AP) is a story-driven five episode series.

Players uncover each episode’s plot through character interaction, dialogue-based puzzles, and the use of inventory items.

The game will be available December 21 in North America and shortly after in Europe.

The Strong Bad video game series was released a few years back on PC and WiiWare to middling reviews and it sounds like little has been changed for the PSN releases. In 2008 it was largely for fans of the web cartoon series and it still is in 2010.
