Street Fighter V’s release date and new V-Gauge combat mechanic have been revealed.

UK magazine Shortlist included a preview of the game in its latest issue (reported via Eventhubs) stating that the game is expected to launch on PS4 and PC in March 2016.

Capcom has previously confirmed that Street Fighter V will launch during this financial year, with 2 million sales expected prior to March 31, 2016.

Shortlist’s preview also details the new V-Gauge system, where players can use brand new supers once they have sustained enough damage to fill a new energy meter. V-Skills have also been detailed, a new counter-tool that allows players to catch projectiles and parry melee attacks. London has also been revealed as the second confirmed stage.

We’ll have our own preview later today.
