Ever wondered what Ken would look like dressed up as one of Monster Hunter’s armoured behemoths? Of course you did. That’s why Capcom, to celebrate the launch of Monster Hunter: World this Friday, has confirmed that a series of costumes based on the Japanese hit franchise will be coming to Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition.

Specifically, players will be able to get their hands on armour based on Rathalos, Zinogre, and Kirin for Ken, R. Mika, and Ibuki, respectively. The best part is they’re all going to be free, but you’ll have to earn them in SFV’s Extra Battle mode, which pits you against a series of unique adversaries.

You’ll need to spend in-game currency to enter the Extra Battle, although this is easily earned by ploughing through a couple of the game’s mission. The entry cost is 2500, with each costume available after completing four challenges. As such, this means you’ll have to splash out on 10,000 Fight Money per outfit, assuming you are victorious each time.

Capcom will be running access to the costumes across a monthly period, so you better check out the full schedule to make sure you don’t potentially miss out on a chance to grab the outfits.
