With Capcom partnering up with Sony on the release of Street Fighter V and the re-release of Ultra Street Fighter IV on PS4, Xbox One owners have been without a way to play Street Fighter on their system.

Thankfully, a new backwards compatibility update has enabled Street Fighter IV to be playable on Xbox One. Great news then, but sadly there’s no compatibility for players with the updated SF4 releases including Super, Arcade and Ultra. If you own any of the updated editions they are currently not playable on Xbox One.

Hopefully this is something Capcom and MS can work out over the coming weeks.

Also added to Xbox One backwards compatibility was Poker Smash, Madballs and Luxor 2.
