A screen shot accompanying a press release announcing Capcom’s Street Fighter II branded destination experience has revealed that Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is set for a November 26 release on Xbox LIVE Arcade.
“Coming Nov 26 to Xbox LIVE Arcade,” states the first panel of the Street Fighter destination experience screen.
While not a specific release date announcement, it seems unlikely Capcom would release a screen featuring an incorrect date. The date also ties in to Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE Wednesday policy. Given that the PSN updates on a Thursday we’d usually assume PS3 gamers would be getting the game on November 27, but this happens to be the Thanksgiving holiday in the US. Could this delay the game’s release on PS3?
As for the Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix destination experience, Capcom says it will “provide a central place for Xbox LIVE Arcade gamers to learn about new content, view the latest trailers, and access downloadable content, including picture packs, and both Basic and Premium Themes”.
