Steam Workshop, the service for submitting game items created and sold by gamers, is celebrating its first anniversary.

The service launched for Team Fortress 2, but has since grown to support 16 shipped games including The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Portal 2, Sid Meier’s Civilization V and more.

Almost 300,000 items are available in the Workshop, including models, animations, maps & levels, scenarios and even full games. These items have notched up a combined 55 million downloads.
