The Steam Summer Sale is due to begin soon, so here are the top five games we are dying to see discounted.
With a start date on June 29th, the sale will feature some of the best games released in recent years with their prices cut heavily. Last year we saw fantastic games such as Red Dead Redemption, Cyberpunk 2077 and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice discounted heavily, so what can we expect this year?
Games we’re want to see discounted at the Steam Summer Sale
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022)
The game released earlier in 2022, and immediately there was a surge of interest in the game. Now that it’s a few months old, it’s the perfect time for a new horde of players to join the game. This is one of the best times of the year to pick up a deal on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, so watch carefully.
Street Fighter 6
Despite only launching earlier this year, Street Fighter 6 is one of the games we’re most excited to see in the Steam Summer Sale. It’s new, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not going to see a tasty discount.
Elden Ring
Not much needs to be said about one of the best games to have ever been released. Any discount on Elden Ring should be snapped up if you don’t have the game already.
Hogwarts Legacy
Released earlier this year, like Street Fighter 6, this is going to be one of the best deals you can pick up this year. Hopefully we see it discounted in this year’s Steam Summer Sale, so we have our wands crossed.
BattleBit Remastered
Having only been released for a few days now, the viral game has a huge player-base charmed by the low-poly graphics and tactical gameplay. We’d love to see a discount on this game at this year’s Steam Summer Sale.
We’re not sure we’re going to see all of these games hit the Steam Summer Sale, after-all, a few of them are fairly new. Alongside that, these are purely speculative and are really just our own fantasies.
We know that Rust is going to see discounts at this year’s Steam Summer Sale, alongside a few others:
- Anno 1800
- Smalland: Survive the Wilds
- The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story
- Pharoah: A New Era
- Rust
- Vertigo 2
- Dead Cells
- Terra Nil
- Sid Meier’s Civilisation VI
- Sifu
- Stardew Valley
- Boundary
- Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
- Total War Warhammer
