In a somewhat unusual move, this year Steam chose to reveal the intended dates of its regular seasonal sales back in February. While these dates are usually given to publishers and developers so they can prepare, this time the information was published publicly so we all have chance to prepare our wallets for the onslaught to come. Steam sales typically start at 6pm BST, which is 10am PT or 1pm ET – and that’s when we expect this one to kick off too.

This year’s Steam Summer Sale 2023 will kick off from Thursday, June 29 and run until July 13 2023. That gives you just over two weeks of bargain hunting to bolster your Steam library.

Ever since last year’s release of the Steam Deck, savvy shoppers have been given even more reason to look forward to these sales, as they bolster the portable library with even more big name games, and with plenty to choose from, there’s sure to be some choice bargains.

The latest sale comes hot on the heels of the Steam Next Fest which is currently running, and is offering a bunch of demos for players to check out until June 26. Following the Summer Sale, the next Steam sale will apparently arrive around October 26 with the annual Steam Halloween sale.
