Valve hasn’t made it official, but it appears that the Steam Summer Sale is kicking off this Thursday, June 22, at 18:00 BST / 10:00 ET, at least according to a tweet from PayPal, who announced that it is, in fact, official.

The reason PayPal has apparently let the cat out of the bag is because during the sale, if you spend £20, you’ll get £5 extra off. You can check out the full terms and conditions here. I mean, it’s on PayPal’s official site, so it all seems above board.

This PayPal deal runs until July 5, which is a decent indicator as to when the Steam Summer Sale will end.

Yeah, Valve itself hasn’t said anything yet, so I can’t say it has been confirmed, but what I can say is that you should probably prepare your wallet in anticipation of Thursday… just in case.
