Steam In-Home Streaming is now available to all users, Valve has announced.

The new feature means that users can login to Steam on two computers on the same network and have them automatically connect, allowing them to remotely install, launch, and play games as though you are sitting at the remote PC.

A major plus of the functionality is the ability to play your PC games on a lower-end computer, or a computer running another operating system, such as Mac OS X, SteamOS, or Linux.
