There are a host of great games supported on Steam Deck this year so far. Massive names include Split Fiction, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, The Last of Us 2, and now the best reviewed game of 2025 so far, Blue Prince. While all these games are great, they do come at a cost. If you’re looking for freebies, then there are new Steam Deck free games ready to claim, including a huge D&D experience that stars beloved Baldur’s Gate 3 characters.

New Steam Deck free games

Below are all of the free games available to claim from Amazon Prime Gaming on April 10th with their Steam Deck status included:

  • DreadOut 2 – unsupported [Amazon Games app]
  • Endless Space Definitive Edition – playable [Amazon Games app]
  • God’s Trigger – Verified [GOG code]
  • Projection First Light – Unknown [Amazon Games app]
  • Faraway Director’s Cut – Playable [Amazon Games app]

In addition to the above from Prime Gaming, below are the freebies available on Epic Games from April 10th until the 17th:

  • Arcadegeddon w/5,000 in-game credits – Verified [Epic Games store]
  • Idle champions of the forgotten realms – Verified [Epic Games store]
  • River City Girls – Unsupported [Epic Games store]

To get the above free games, you will want to use the free Heroic Games launcher which supports the Amazon Games app, GOG, and Epic Games store. Also, to get the Prime Gaming freebies, you will need to be a Prime subscriber which is £8.99 a month.

Out of the above list of games, Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms is no doubt the biggest because it’s Dungeons and Dragons. It is a “strategy management game” that utilizes “over 140 champions” belonging to the D&D universe across video games, novels, comic books, and more, with all Baldur’s Gate 3 companions featured such as Karlach, Shadowheart, Astarion, and Lae’zel.

In other Steam Deck news, an upcoming Sonic game is officially verified with pre-register rewards available to get.
