Steam Curators taking payment or a form of sponsorship in return for a game recommendation must now disclose this, Valve has confirmed.

An update to the Steam Curator program policy states that anyone who had “accepted money or other compensation for making a product review or for posting a recommendation” has to disclose this with their post.

Developers also have new functionality, with the ability to curate the Curators – essentially deciding which Curators appears on their game’s page.

We don’t yet have a Curator Page, but if we did Bratterz would ensure we recommended every indie game under the sun.
