The Steam Controller will no longer feature a central touchscreen but a more conventional d-pad and four face buttons, Steam DB reports.
Posting details revealed at Steam Dev Days, Steam DB states that the controller will also be powered by AA batteries, leaving it down to the user to decide if they wish to use rechargables.
It’s also been confirmed that the controller features gyroscopes, but they are yet to be implemented in the current firmware.
And there’s likely to be even more changes made to the controller in the coming months as Valve has only just begun processing beta feedback.
