Stealth Inc 2 will be released exclusively for Wii U in Q4 2014, Curve has announced.
Players return to the dark corridors of PTi Industries in Stealth Inc 2, but this time they aren’t limited to test chambers – they have full run of the facility, breaking into chambers and exploring an open world with the aid of brand new equipment in a effort to save fellow clones from human experimentation.
The Wii U GamePad will also be utilised for cooperative gameplay.
Stealth Inc creator and game director Jonathan Biddle commented: “We’ve relished revisiting the world of Stealth Inc. It’s given us the chance to really fine tune the Stealth Inc experience, while also hugely expanding it with the addition of a larger explorable game world, and a more involved narrative.”
Given the first game has managed over a million downloads across PC, PS3, PS Vita, PS4 and mobile devices, it’s certainly a risky decision to launch exclusively – at least initially – on Wii U. We don’t imagine we’ll need to get far into 2015 until we see the sequel on other platforms.
