The Nintendo Switch version of Stardew Valley is finally getting multiplayer support tomorrow, developer ConcernedApe has announced.
Although it's been a long time coming, the Switch edition of the farm-'em-up title is the first console version of the game to receive multiplayer. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions will have to wait until a later date, while the feature is already available on PC.
Stardew Valley's multiplayer update allows up to four players to manage a farm together, sharing funds and generally giving each other a helping hand where required. You can, however, still tackle quests and pursue relationships on your own.
In addition, ConcernedApe is also adding a bunch of other features with the update, including voice and text chat.
Stardew Valley recently launched for mobile platforms.
